A wholewheat version of the historical Carnaroli rice variety, with a tapered and pearled grain. Considered one of the best varieties of rice in Italy, it has an excellent cooking capacity, absorbs liquid evenly and right to the centre of the grain, giving it a uniform, light consistency, a creamy flavour without becoming sticky. A perfect superior quality rice for risotto, from Oschiena Farmstead, one of the oldest rice growers in Vercelli, committed to maintaining the highest quality crop while respecting the natural habitat and longstanding traditions of the product.
