A beautiful, soft cheese, made with pastuerised goat’s milk.
Bonde du Poitou hails from the Poitou Chèvre creamery in Bougon, Poitou-Charentes, a dairy which has been in existence since 1906. A family firm from the neighbouring village took over the Bougon dairy in 2016, making it a larger supplier of solely traditional local cheeses, at the same time maintaining impressive quality standards. The dairy now supports a range of local farmers in the region, farming mainly Alpine and Saanen goats.
Bonde du Poitou is gentle, but immensely satisfying with sweet, creamy flavours, and a very pliable texture.
French, Nouvelle Aquitaine.

Caring for your Cheese | Keep cut cheeses wrapped in wax paper. Do not use cling film as this makes the cheese sweat. |
