Barrel-Aged Feta PDO



A soft, creamy cheese, made with pasteurised ewe [70%] and goat’s milk. Considered one of the top Greek fetas, the Papathanaiou Trichonda PDO is made with 100% Greek milk from the Trichonda region. Matured for 3 to 4 months in brine, in wooden barrels that allow the cheese to breathe and mature in a natural environment. Authentic Greek feta flavour, very unlike its salty, commercial counterparts.

Caring for your Cheese

Keep cut cheeses wrapped in wax paper. Do not use cling film as this makes the cheese sweat.
Store cheese in the warmest part of your fridge. The salad drawer is quite ideal.
Artisanal cheese and mould are natural companions. Simply trim the surface mould before serving.
Always bring cheese to room temperature before serving. In standard temperatures, an hour out of the fridge prior to serving, is ideal.
