Sumac
Known as the Lemons from God, this citrusy spice is derived from the wild red berries of the Sumac shrub, hand-picked and hand-crushed in the fertile valleys of Ajloun, Jordan.
Gives a sharp lemony kick to chicken, lamb and seafood. Also makes a unique salad dressing when mixed with olive oil.
